Every book and lesson also includes multiple opportunities for students to write and ends with a carefully designed assessment that addresses essential ELA standards such as finding the main idea, using context clues, and writing to different prompts.

Each of our flexible learning experiences is designed with ease-of-use for the teacher in mind. Suggestions in the Teacher’s Guide provide extra support to learners who need it. Instruction is multi-modal and includes audio, hands-on activities, writing, and speaking. In addition, many activities are created for flexible use in the classroom so teachers can have students do them in groups, as a whole class, or individually. Finally, these books and lessons provide enough content that they can be taught over the course of a few days to a few weeks.
